my approach

As a foundation my approach is collaborative, client centred and holistic; I am trained in trauma-sensitive therapies like Internal Family Systems therapy and somatic therapy. Our sessions will be tailored around your specific needs on that given day as I draw from the theoretical tools I have learned.

internal family systems (IFS) therapy

Do you ever feel like you're having a conversation with parts of yourself that can't seem to agree? I am Level 1 trained in IFS therapy and it contributes greatly to the approach I take with my clients. IFS is a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing and holistic approach that allows me to meet any issue you may be experiencing with openness. IFS invites you to develop more understanding and compassion to your internal world. It understands multiplicity of the mind – meaning, we are not just “one” person who thinks and feels the same way all of the time. Through this approach I can help you enhance your relationship with yourself, as well as your friends, family and the community that surrounds you. Please don’t hesitate to ask me more.
